This is a point to point 22 mile race on the Ohio River. The starting line is at the boat ramp of the local river community, Westport, KY. The course can range from a placid run to a challenging one depending on the weather conditions. As the Ohio River is a major navigational channel, there will be some barge traffic,  & pleasure boat traffic. This race is for intermediate to elite paddlers with the skill and fitness to complete this endurance challenge. Depending on your craft, experience, and river conditions: it will take between 3 to 6 hours to complete the course. Our cut-off time is 6 hours. This is a great opportunity to push your limits and a great training run for folks taking on the Chattajack 31 in October.
