2nd Ever Cove of Youth 1 Mile Sprint Race

Overview
Whitney Houston most famously sang “ I believe the children are our are future, teach them well and let them lead the way “ and we agree with her wholeheartedly! EKI is excited to return with our 2nd Ever Cove of Youth 1 Mile Sprint Race which launches from the spillway beach at Laurel River Lake. All the action takes place within a no wake cove area on the lake with safety paddlers on the water, along with rescue personnel, and excellent views of the course. All paddlecraft are welcome - PFD wear is mandatory. Come one, come all!
Age groups are as follows:
- Little Kahunas: 5-8 years old 
- Marlins: 9-11 years old 
- Flying Fish: 12 -14 years old 
- Makos : 14 - 17 years old 
Cost
- June 1st – June 26th: $15 (SAVE $5) 
- Register by June 27th: $20 
Paddler will receive:
- Support boats stationed along the course all day in case they are needed. 
- Professional medical and communications coverage on the course 
- Chance to wins tons of cool prizes
