Ohio River Cleanup with Living Lands & Water

Living Lands & Waters, a river cleanup non-profit organization, is coming down the Ohio River, stopping in Charleston State Park in Indiana (10/25-11-5) and Louisville (11/8-12/6)! Please come out and help them clean up the Ohio River, which we love to recreate on! For these efforts, volunteers will go out on LL&W's johnboats and collect garbage from the river banks.

Most days, they will be hosting 2 cleanups per day, one from 9 A.M - 12 P.M and one from 1 P.M - 4 P.M, with lunch provided for all volunteers between 12-1. Volunteers can sign up for a half-day, or fill out the form twice to sign up for both sessions! All necessary materials for clean-up efforts are provided; trash bags, gloves, life jackets, water, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. To register for a cleanup please click here, http://bit.ly/OhioRiverCleanups

Since their inception in 1998, LL&W has worked with over 97,000 volunteers to remove 8.7 MILLION pounds of marine debris from America’s Rivers.
