John has vast experience in wilderness and urban survival, bushcraft, wild edible and medicinal plants, and much more.  I called the Forest Services's Gladie Ranger Station to see if Chimney Top Road was open. We found out it would be opening soon so while waiting we headed out to Swift Camp Creek Trail #219 by Rock Bridge where we quickly jumped off into the creek with our waders on and fly rods in hand.

When you take a tour in MCNP, you are not only walking into a geological masterpiece, but you are also walking into a piece of Kentucky’s history that is, for lack of better words, awesome. Chasing Waterfalls

I don't follow TLC's advice, I live to " chase waterfalls" . As a hiker and adventurer, they are part of natural obsessions. This past Sunday I felt an urge to get my waterfall fix so I took a short trip to Raven Run Nature Sanctuary,  which is located just outside of Lexington, KY.

The Hidden Gem of the Mountains

I'm from a small town in Eastern Kentucky called Jenkins. I don't get to go home often, but I recently took a trip there, and ended up having several sessions. I like using a model to test out new locations, and that's what Ashley helped me do. We went to Fish Pond Lake to scout out the area, and so that I could figure out some poses for an upcoming senior.
