EKI and KYI Presents the Red River Gorge Rejuvenation Weekend

Join the Explore Kentucky Initiative and Kentucky Yoga Initiative for a weekend of outdoor rejuvenation and restoration at Natural Bridge State Park. Natural Bridge is located near the  Daniel Boone National Forest's Red River Gorge National Geological Area. During this weekend, participants will have the opportunity to practice different styles of yoga led by KYI teachers, explore the natural world and landscape photography through guided hikes led by EKI staff; while enjoying some time outdoors with the Kentucky outdoor and yoga communities.

Participants are welcome to tent camp at a group camp site at the Middle Fork Campground, located at Natural Bridge State Park. Programming will begin with an opening yoga class on Friday, April 14th at 7:30 P.M. Participants will have the option to participate in a morning yoga class on Saturday, April 15th and then may choose between two different hikes that will be guided by EKI. That evening, the group will join together for a dinner at Red River Rock House, followed by an evening yoga practice and optional night hike. The weekend will conclude with an early yoga class on Sunday, April 16th. Participants who want to leave early to return to families for Easter Sunday are welcome to leave Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

The program fee includes all yoga classes, two breakfasts and two guided hikes. Participants should bring additional snacks, lunch for Saturday and money for dinner at Red River Rock House. Campers will need to bring all necessary supplies for outdoor camping.
